The Library's eBooks are available through EBSCO, which also provides access to ATLAS and other databases. You can search just for eBooks in the EBSCO ebooks database or you can search for them alongside print books and other resources as part of a comprehensive Wesley Discovery Service search. (A limited number of ebooks are listed in the Wesley book catalog. Search the two databases listed here for a broader search.)
To read eBooks on the web, you only need a web-browser and an internet connection.
When you are viewing an item's record in the EBSCO eBooks database, select the eBook Full Text link. You do not need to select the "Download" option.
EBSCO eBooks can be "checked out," or downloaded to a mobile device (such as a laptop, tablet, or e-reader) and read offline. You can choose a borrowing period from 1 to 14 days.
A small number of our eBooks can only be read by one user at a time.
In order to check out eBooks and to download them to a mobile device, you will need a myEBSCOhost folder account, a valid free AdobeID, a copy of Adobe Digtal Editions and/or a Bluefire Reader. For more assistance, see our Help page.
