Online Resources

Use the authenticated links on the Quick Links page to access individual online collections, eBooks, and databases. You cannot directly access individual resources from websites of publishers, vendors, or content providers.

Access to electronic resources is governed by terms of service and conditions of use established by each vendor.

• Enrolled students, faculty and staff at the Wesley Theological Seminary have remote access to the Library’s e-books, e-journals, databases, and other subscription-based online resources.


• Other Library users, including members of the Washington Theological Consortium, American University, and special researchers are welcome to use our resources in the Library.


• Alumni have remote access only to the Atlas PLUS database. For access to other databases and electronic resources, alumni will need to visit the Library. The login details change annually. Please contact the Library for the current userid and password. 

1. From the library website (http://wesleyseminary.edu) click the Search Discovery Service image.

The link redirects to the library online catalog and discovery tool.

Once you find and select an electronic resource (eBook or full-text article), you will be prompted to enter your My Wesley userid and password for access.

Enter your My Wesley username and password. (Contact the Registrar’s Office if you have forgotten or do not have a My Welsey account.)

2. From the My Wesley link on any page in the Wesley website, click the link.

Click the My Wesley Portal link.

Enter your My Wesley username and password. (Contact the Registrar’s Office if you have forgotten or do not have a My Welsey account.)

Click the Library Online Resources button.
