Study Bibles contain the full text of the Bible as well as footnotes, essays, and other tools that assist in reading and interpreting the text. Some study bibles tend toward theological interpretation while others are more historical or critical. A number of the items on this list are called “Commentaries” but can be read as Study Bibles.
